Melba's Fixins Lemon Meringue Pie Soda

 Melba's Fixins Lemon Meringue Pie Soda is one of the better entries in the Melba's Fixins lineup. It has the most natural flavor of all the fixins I have tried. I have to admit that were it not for the price I would buy more of this stuff. 

To be honest, what you tend to pay for here is novelty. It's not the greatest soda on earth, and it's not bad either. It's just something to give your party a little more kick. 

Or this could just be expensive to make. I don't know, it's expensive to buy.

Melba's Fixins Cherries & Cream Soda

 Melba's Fixins Cherries & Cream Soda is a novelty soda that should taste like pie. It tastes okay but it's a cream soda with a cherry after taste. I wouldn't call it thirst quenching, and I wouldn't say it's worth the price. 

This is the kind of thing you buy for folks who really like cherry pie, and then you have a laugh about it.

Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda

 Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda is the closest I have ever come to drinking a pie. It tastes just like key lime pie and good key lime pie at that. Not key lime pie that has been left around too long and gone sour. 

This real sugar soda is the best of Mable's Fixins I've had ... I haven't had them all yet. I have a few more to go, but so far this is the best one. 

If you like key lime pie you need to try this stuff because it's epic. Or I'm just a fat dude who likes soda too much. One of the two.

Melba's Fixins Peaches & Cream Soda

 Melba's Fixins Peaches & Cream Soda could use a lot more peach to go with that cream. I mean, I never understood cream soda to start with but peach soda sounds like a thing we should make more of. Only thing is I don't taste a lot of peach here and that kind of makes this just a cream soda. More peach!

Melba's Fixins Strawberries and Cream Soda

 At four dollars a bottle Melba's Fixins Strawberries and Cream Soda isn't the kind of thing you buy of any old day of drinking. It's a real sugar novelty soda that tastes fine but isn't better than most other sodas. I would have to say it would be better with a shot of vodka, but when is that not true, but that price is so prohibitive. 

The truth is, once you pass the novelty of this soda you have a better time with a case of no name strawberry soda from the local store. Which will often be less than one bottle of this.

Melba's Fixins Apple Pie Soda

Melba's Fixins Apple Pie Soda is an overpriced novelty soda that tastes fine but is not worth the four or five dollars a bottle you'll wined up paying for the stuff. It tastes a bit like cider and cream soda mixed together. 

All in all, it's not bad, but I feel like I paid a kidney for it.
