Does it taste bad? No. It just tastes like sugar and chocolate powder with a few of those odd marshmallows thrown in. You still have to be an outright fool to buy more sugar in October.
Sour Dudes Sour Strawz Sour Blue Raspberry has sour in the name three times and arn't so sour. Not a lot of raspberry in there for that matter.
I mean, these things are okay, a little slimy, and unremarkable. On the up side they will serve the trip from LA to Mexico so I'm donating them to the Orphans.
M&M's Cookies & Screeem has three e's in the name just to piss me off. As a holiday treat these are a bad idea as they cannot be given away to trick or treaters unless you have enough money to give everyone a jumbo bag.
Past that, these are really good, really bad for you, and had mysteriously disappeared when I got home from work.
Limited Edition Hostess Scary Cakes with S'Cream Filling are boring old chocolate cup cakes and not great ones at that. If you need something to get the mood going at a Halloween party then these may do the job but lets be honest they're not that Halloween looking are they?

Sour Dudes Sour Strawz Sour Watermelon are as sour as not sour can really be. I mean, these just aren't very sour. They are also not very watermelon.
They are sugary, so children will love them, but if you're looking for sour look elsewhere.
Rogue Dead Guy Ale is a fun party favor for a Halloween romp but past the cool look of the can and thick head you don't see much you like. I can't make the can glow as promised and the beer is just so so. Just looking cool is not enough.
Kool-Aid Ghoul-Aid Jammers Scary Berry are the kind of things you give your children if you want them to get diabetes. They taste no better than water and take vodka poorly.
I guess they are supposed to be blueberry but they taste like, well, blueberry hasn't much of a taste so that's okay.
They do have a cool blue color but given that blue is not a Halloween color I'd say that this is still a fail. You don't even see the color if you use them as intended.
If you want a themed Halloween treat to bring out after your party is blasted reach for these, if not, give them a pass.

Well, if you like sour these will be a disappointment but as they are here to give the kids a sugar rush.
Dove Dark Chocolate Pumpkins are Dove Dark Chocolate in a green wrapper with a pumpkin on it. I mean, try harder will you, Dove, you're not giving me much to review.
Crystal Head Aurora Vodka looks really cool but tastes like crap. It's not smooth and not good for shots. You can give this a pass, because I think it costs more than normal Crystal Head.

Welch's Sparkling Fruit Punch + Energy is a Welch's attempt to enter the lucrative energy market. They are a find drink for those who are not season energy drinkers or coffee lovers. It tastes fine and will give you a bit of a kick. It's not bad for vodka and will work for those folks who want to read a book on a cold October night and need a little help keeping those peepers pealed.
Works okay, not bad, just okay.
Delighted by Desserts Worth Sharing Edible Brownie Batter is the kind of thing that worries me. I mean, it looks kind of like poo and isn't all brownie batter supposed to be edible?
Further, this stuff is made with garbanzo beans making in some funky kind of hummus. I can honestly say I've never eaten brownie batter but it doesn't spread like this at all. It kind of reminds me of canned pumpkin.
This stuff is not as good as it thinks it is but it's not bad. I would try it if I were you because it's either going to change your world or make you shrug and try something else.
At the Ontario California branch of Galaxy Burgers you can get a Grilled Sourdough Burger. These things are grilled hard to be crispy and give you a good crunch when you bite into them. Love these things, but they can rip up your mouth.
I know it's not a sourdough Jack but Jack would be jealous.
Clif Energy Granola Cocoa Almond is a fun little snack you can take with you on long hikes. I like the almonds best but there really could be more of them.
At the end of the day I could take this or leave it which is what you want in hiking food.
Pure Farms All Natural Homestyle Fully Cooked Meatballs are full of MSG and ready to get on your table. They are a bit on the normal side and they may put your mouth to sleep, but otherwise they get the job done.
Ted's Burgers Chicken Dinner is three pieces of chicken atop a mound of french fries and two pieces of bread. It comes with a salad so it's more than I can easily finish. It's a lot of food, but I can't say it stands out from other chicken dinners.
I saw this Piggly Wiggly Spaghetti, and I had to get some. That was not because it was good or I had heard of it but the name was so much fun. Say it "Piggly Wiggly!" it just brings a smile to your face.
It's just normal spaghetti in every way but eat it with no shirt on and with chicken or hot dogs and you get that down home county feel that only eating Piggly Wiggly can give you.
Galaxy Burgers Shrimp Dinner is a lot of food with some really big shrimp. The only problem I have with this meal is that you don't really see enough shrimp. I mean, these are big shrimp, but you get more onion rings and fries and the like.
Good stuff, but needs more shrimp.
Krispy Kreme's 2019 Halloween Dozen is a mix that will set your Halloween party to laugh and talk about them. I have to admit that they can be a bit messy and their not that great. These are fine for the holiday, but I'm not going to miss them when they are gone.
Krispy Kreme: Chocolate Iced Glazed with Halloween Sprinkles is the cop out of the 2019 Krispy Kreme Halloween lineup. It's just a chocolate glazed doughnut with sprinkles so it's the normal one of the lot. Still, not bad with coffee.
'Mumford, the Mummy Monster' is part of the Krispy Kreme 2019 Halloween lineup and it's relatively normal compared to the other monsters on your list. It's little more than a glazed doughnut with some purple and that sugar eye and mouth. I take the mouth off and put it in my coffee. Past that, good times.
'Hypno-Henry, the Cake Batter Monster' is another of the Krispy Kreme 2019 Halloween lineup and I have to say this is an interesting doughnut. The 'cake batter' part I just don't see because the flavor is overshadowed by the orange sugar that makes up the top of this pastry.
Now I have to say I don't like the eyes and mouth so I pull them off and put them in my coffee, but this knocks 'Slimon, the Slime Monster' right out the box.
Krispy Kreme has Halloween doughnuts as one would expect, and I finally made my way down their to try them. This is "Slimon, the Slime Monster" and he's a lime flavored mess with a sugar eye that gets all over your hands.
I have to say this really goes for the ghoul and the lime filling is different but that blob of stuff on the bottom that slimes your hand really makes a mess.
I like the look but not the mess it comes with. The taste is a let down.
Papa Pita Greek Pita White is a sweet flatbread that makes for great eating even on its own. I just love this stuff but you can't normally get it where I live. I got it as part of an overstock at a discount store and went back to get more before taking this picture.
You got to try this stuff.
The lack of the word cheese on this Taco Bell Zesty Ranch is somewhat worring. I mean, it tastes like cheese and looks like cheese but who knows what it really is?
As for me, I will never stop killing myself with Taco Bell.
With Halloween on the way you may be thinking of a cat door. This one is lockable but not made for indoor outdoor use. It took my cats some time to figure this one out, but it gets the job done. Locks are a little wonky, but I have no regrets.
At the two locations of Galaxy Burgers in Southern California you can get a plate of these Mushrooms. They are a bit much for one person to eat on their own but I have to say with some ranch these totally kick tail. I love these things.
Friskies Pull 'n Play Cat Treats are fine at pull but the cat's just refuse to play with these, and most of the time don't eat them. I have had a few of these disappear when I wasn't looking, but as for playing with my cats not going to happen.
Peeps Fruit Punch shrink as you store them, but taste just as good no matter how small they get. I have to say I like these, but I wouldn't get them again because I don't normally eat Peeps.
I think they forgot my bacon in this Dairy Queen Turkey BLT but it's a hot sandwich made in a microwave that leaves you wishing you had gone somewhere else. It isn't bad, but it isn't good. This sandwich is just kind of there.
Seasoned Beef Taco Mix Ready to Cook is something you find at every Grocery Outlet I've been to. Funny thing is I can't find a brand name on this stuff. Well it tasted good what ever it was.
Organic Hope Hummus Original Recipe is a mildly spicy hummus that serves to be what one would expect from this now common food. I have to say that it keeps well when refrigerated.
This is good stuff because it's normal, but it's still it's own thing.
Got to love it.
Galaxy Burgers Pastrami is one really wet sandwich. If you've been reading me for a while then you know I love this place. This was still a little to wet and drippy for me.
Way Better Snacks Multi Grain Chips smell funny. I mean, they taste fine, but they smell like fish. I think they stopped selling these because of their funny smell but they're just fine chips.
Trader Joe's Organic Yellow Lentil Brown Rice Pasta Spaghetti is light on dietary fiber for a pasta of its nature, and it will harden quickly with air.
This is okay and better for you than normal pasta, but it's not that great.
At the two remaining locations of Pioneer Chicken in southern California you can get yourself some shrimp. It's good old shrimp with all the shrimpness you can want.
I love these things and just looking at them makes me want more.
Refresco Lemon Lime So da is a stand in for real soda when you don't have the money for the real thing. Now this stuff isn't going to stand up to good old Seven Up, but it gets the job done when you need to get the nasty out of some cheap whisky.
Don't drink cheap whisky kids.
