Trader Joe's Sun-Dried Tomatoes Julienne Cut

I remember when I first got sun-dried tomatoes in a jar of oil and full of herbs. For some time the dried tomato was a big part of my diet but with all the oil they were bad for me.

Trader Joe's Sun-Dried Tomatoes are a great alternative only they leave the seasoning up to you. If you dislike tomatoes but like ketchup these will probably fill the hole in your diet left by not liking red foods. Red foods by the way are considered to inhibit prostate cancer. So if you like your winky working eat tomatoes. 

Dare Breton Multigrain

Dare Breton Multigrain crakers are best enjoyed without a cat trying to eat your hummus. That said these crackers are not good on their own and have very little fiber even compared to multi grain bread of the same calorie count. 

I can't say I dislike them, only that they are a passable thing to put your hummus on before you eat it. 

iHope Chicken & Pumpkin Spice Waffle

iHope Chicken & Pumpkin Spice Waffle is okay. The pumpkin in that waffle was a little to mild to make it a big deal and the chicken was just kind of there. I wouldn't get this again but it is worth trying. 

iHope Chicken and Three Cheese Enchilada

iHope's Chicken and Three Cheese Enchilada is a gloppy mess that got on my shirt. It had a lot less vegetables than in the image as well. I didn't care much for this, but if you want to be constipated I'd get one. 

Ihop Salad

ihope is not known for it's salad and I can see why. To be honest, this is a competent attempt at something green and fresh. I would say get it because it's good for you. 

Pacific Fish Grill Fish and Chips

Every time I try a new restaurant I give their fish and chips a try, and Pacific Fish Grill being a fish place, well. . .

Anyway, these were about mid ground for fish and chips but they had a killer crunch to them. If you like fish and chips this will work for you but if that's not your bag these don't stand out.

Pacific Fish Grill Appetizer Combo

The Pacific Fish Grill Appetizer Combo comes with shrimp, calamari, zucchini, pita bread, and a crab cake. Some how I think this is hard to share given only one crab cake but who eats those things?

I didn't find this all that great but I have learned that 'Combo' or 'Sampler' just means more price for what you get. I wouldn't get this again. 

Panera Bread Pecan Braid

The Panera Bread Pecan Braid is a crusted sweet. I have to admit I could have used more spice in this, but past that it was very good. I proffer my pecan to light up my day and this failed in that lacking the zing a bit more cinnamon would have given.

Panera Bread Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich

At 2910 mg of sodium this Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich was a lot of not worth it. Not to mention the 800 Calories that went into the thing. I'd give it a pass unless you want to salt your body for preservation. 

Pieology Pizzeria

Have you ever had the desire to shove stuff on a pizza until the bread disappeared? Sure, who hasn't? Then you grew up and came to the reality that more is not always better. Well, someone never grew up and so Pieology came about giving you more choices to get on your pizza than anyone would need.

Now the monster pizza my brother made had everything he could fit on it making it a disgusting mass of flavors only good for someone who can't taste. He needed a fork to eat the dang thing, but I think he liked it just fine. Yet, I will be honest that he said he wasn't big on Pieology.

Now, my pizza was a hair more conservative, but I feel like I had to much. The crust was very thin as if it was only there to have toppings on it and the toppings were underdone. I should have reeled it back some. I will note that they did have salads and the condiments were a little further than most. Over all, I wouldn't go back.

In-N-Out Burger Cheese Fries

I came across In-N-Out Burger Cheese Fries because someone screwed up my order and gave me these instead of normal fries. I'm not complaining, but I'm not impressed. If your goal is to out fat your friends this is a great idea, but it lacks something. I think the fries are just as good without the cheese.

In-N-Out Burger Double Double

Now the In-N-Out Burger Double Double is a standard by which all hamburgers should be judged.  Oddly, I almost never order them because I'm more into it's larger brother being as I am a very big man. You couldn't get a better burger unless you knew the cow was treated well. Then, how odd would it be if you asked the cow how it was feeling before you made it into this?

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que French Fries

Nothing remarkable can be said about Lucille's french fries. They get the job done but I've had fries like this so often that I would never order these at this place again. It just doesn't strike me as better than I can get anywhere else.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Texas Style Beef Brisket Sandwich

Like most big restaurant burgers this Texas Style Beef Brisket Sandwich from Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is the kind of thing that will mess up your shirt. I can't argue with the idea that this was a great sandwich but my shirt was unhappy with me after the fact. All in all I would get this again. I'd just wrap it in something. 

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Lucille's Onion Straws

The unholy mass of half cooked onion that is called Lucille's Onion Straws  nearly killed my brother. He was sick for hours after eating these or at very least something at Lucille's. We took half of these home and I recooked them to they were crisp and that made them better. Got to give these a thumbs down.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Biscuits

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Biscuits are really good if you can get them, but don't count on it because they are in short supply. That pulsing goo they come with is not that great. 

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Soft Drink

As you can see, seventy fiver percent of my Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Soft Drink is filled with ice making it very cold. This would be great in the summer if I were in some barn in Texas wacking bugs the size of pigeons and getting drunk.

It would be great because I'd need the water and the cold but needed something to make that well water safe to drink.

Here in the California winter I'd rather have some soft-drink in my ice. Call it a personal thing. On the up side, you do get less fat drinking this because you don't get much out of it until the ice melts.

Panera Bread Spinach & Artichoke Souffle

When you buy a spinach and Artichoke Souffle you think there is going to be spinach and artichokes in it but you'd be wrong. Other than there being very little green in this thing it was okay. I find these to be small and unappealing but at only 540 Calories they are more of a snack for a fellow like me.

Post Grape-nuts

Crunchy and full of nutrients Post Grape-nuts are a great start to your day if accompanied by enough protein and some vegetables. I will point out that these keep their crunch a bit longer than most serials but when they lose the crunch they start to stink. 

Grape-nuts are a bowl of kickn' morning for anyone who doesn't need a sugar high to get there day going. On the other hand I do need a cup of coffee to start things off so what do I know. 

Red Hook Long Hammer IPA

Red Hook is a strong brewer and Long Hammer IPA holds its own for IPA drinkers. Now I'm going to admit that I got a case of this stuff to soak my fish and this IPA has the flavor for doing so without overwhelming my cod. If you like IPAs or need to get that old fish smell out of food this stuff is for the win. 

Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup

Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup would be a good deal better with more mushroom. I could complain about it being bland but cream of mushroom soup is meant to be made into something else so it should be bland. 

Angry Orchard Cinnamon Apple

Angry Orchard Cinnamon Apple has all the apple and not enough cinnamon. I know that hard cider is kind of an old thing and things were less flavorful back then, but you can't go small in this market.

This is okay but not that much different from the Angry Orchard without cinnamon.   

Shasta Cola

Shasta Cola is one of the better knockoffs of cola but still not worth drinking. It won't beat RC or any other major colas but it tastes less like detergent than other knock offs.

Magic Hat Ale

Magic Hat comes to me as a company that can make a good beer and Magic Hat Ale is no exception. I can't say that it stands out among ales. It stands with a very small after taste and a smooth overall flavor making it a solid drink. 

I will note that this beer is not on the Magic Hat website and so it must have been discontinued probably because it's just too similar to the #9. 

I say it's a shame this is not on the market but then the world has plenty of good beers so I will not miss this one. 

Subway Meatball Marinara

Subway's Meatball Marinara is not in any way the imposing sandwich you see on their website. It's not bad, but I would like it to have as much meat as they make it look like it has. Instead you get this thing which is either longer than Subway's picture or has smaller meatballs. 

I should have eaten this with my eyes closed.

Juan Pollo Lunch Special

I never new potato salad was Mexican until I went to Juan Pollo, but there it is saying it's Mexican. I mean, potato salad is what I think of when someone says grandma food.

There is a real someone's back yard feel to this Juan Pollo Lunch Special without the friendly greeting I would get from one of my friends.

All in all, I would say the chicken was good, but the good stopped at the chicken and went no further. 

Ray's Tepeyac Machaca Con Huevos

Ray's Tepeyac Machaca Con Huevos is made with onion and bell peppers so I'm not digging it from the start and it could have come with more tortillas. Now, I don't get much real Mexican food in my diet and I don't know how real a place called Ray's can go, but I still say I found this to be a good change for me.

I'd go back to Ray's but not order this again. 

Panera Bread Asiago Steak Sandwich

Panera Bread's Asiago Steak Sandwich looks very little like it's picture given that the bread has more of a curve to it in the photograph. I think it was the horseradish and onion that made this sandwich bad for me if for no other reason than they overwhelm the cheese. There is just too much going on on that thing to make it worth eating. 

Panera Bread Tomato Mozzarella Flatbread

Panera Bread's Tomato Mozzarella Flatbread is one of those things you need to like tomatoes to get along with. I would have liked it better if it had spinach rather than that weed lettuce the used. Again, you have to like what is in this to like it, and I just don't care for what this is made of so it's not for me. 

Original Tommy's Chili Cheese Fries

Original Tommy's Chili Cheese Fries are true to their name but lack the flavor of fries with just ketchup. In a world where ketchup is better than your chili I can't understand how you don't think about your life choices.

Anyway, these will make you less hungry, and I can honestly say that if I grew up eating them I wouldn't think much of fast food. 

Original Tommy's Chili Hot Dog

The Original Tommy's Chili Hot Dog is the most basic of chili-dogs sporting a glob of glop topped with vegetables and almost edible.

To be clear these are not bad, it is simply that they are not good. I would say that they are almost completely neutral in flavor. Not being agreeable or disagreeably I'm not sure what to make of these things at all. I know I would never pay money for them but I wouldn't turn them down for free.
