Just in time for Halloween BJ's Pumpkin Pizookie is on the scene. It's almost completely like any other Pizookie but a little moister. 

I have to say I liked it but then it's all sugar and stuff and who doesn't like that?

Monterey Mushrooms Whole Baby Bellas

These mushrooms are mushrooms. If you like mushrooms you will like these and if you don't you will not. 

Me, I love these little things so I buy them all the time. I do normally get another kind of mushroom because these are just a little more expensive, but they all taste the same.

Pennsylvania Dutch Original Pumpkin Cream Liqueur

Pennsylvania Dutch Original Pumpkin Cream Liqueur is not that pumpkin and not that original but it gets the job done.

It was thin and had almost no aroma as well as having far too little spice.

Add in the fact that that cannot say Pennsylvania on the cover and you have a drink you should just not think too much about. Other than that good drink.

Barbasol Thick and Rich Shaving Cream, Original

With Halloween this weekend some of you are now thinking of doing a bit of manscapin, or ladyscaping, and may want to try this stuff. Well, for me it was like coming home. I've used Barbasol for years and I even have sensitive skin but this stuff hols up just fine, even with my old man razor.

Skeleteens Black Lemonade Private Reserve

As the dominant flavor of Skeleteens Black Lemonade Private Reserve is not lemonade I have to call bull on the name. It is however, black as midnight and a chemical stew worthy of that scull on the bottle. 

I can't say I liked this but I do have to say that it was something different and new. My brother commented that it was just like Brain Wash and I do have to agree that it is a striking similarity.

In any case, try at your own risk. 

Sour Punch Cherry

Sour punch is the superficially liquorice like candy that may just show up in your Halloween bag in a few days. How it justifies itself I cannot tell. I get the sour but not the punch.

Now the, it could be cherry, flavor is something of a disappointment but you'll never care as the diabetes you get from all that candy kills you.

Red Hook Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter

Now this is beer, smooth and dark with a strong head Red Hook Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter is the best pumpkin beer I have ever tasted.

 

Brain Wash Carbonated Drink

Brain Wash gives you blue poop. Very blue poop for Halloween, or rather kind of green, because your blood is red and gives your poop that color. 

Now to be honest I don't like green or blue poop. However, Brain Wash really washes your brain. It put me out like a light. I think this stuff would be better without all that blue stuff.

If you're thinking of bringing this soda to the party the truth is no. This soda will drop you like a man drops the first feminine hygiene product he finds.

Creative Snacks Co. Pumpkin Spice Yogurt Pretzels

Yet another warrior in the pumpkin spice war these pretzels add a festive orange touch to any coffee table. To be honest these are not very spice but plenty sugar.

 Again, I wouldn't go around recommending these over any other pretzels covered in yogurt. I mean, I tried them and then left them in the refrigerator rather than eat them. I mean, I'm a big fat guy and I didn't go gobbling these down so just remember that.

Saranac Pumpkin Ale

Saranac Pumpkin Ale is a middle of the road beer that does much better than many of it's pumpkin relatives.

I wouldn't say that I would buy it on the regular but I will say that I enjoined it and so did the two other people who tried it with me.

The screw cap was a nice touch so no bottle opener needed and otherwise this was a rich smooth ale.

Jack Black Skelektable Sparkling soda Pops Sacarcrbowberry Soda

Well, this is different, I mean if it was the price of normal soda I would say try it just to say you did but a more than a dollar at bottle this stuff is rather expensive.

For me it was just too artificial in flavor and I'm not sure what it was supposed to taste like.

I will make the point that by brother had this with the Wild Turkey 101 and thought it was top notch so alcohol makes this very good. I had it strata so I could review it for all of you.

Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods Pumpkin Pie Kettle Chips

I've never been a fan of Boulder Canyon but these things stood out to me and I had to give them a try. You know what, these are good. They don't taste like pumpkin pie at all, but they are good.

Then potato chips can be almost anything if flavored right so just remember that when you by them.

Burger King Halloween Whopper

This limited time offer from Burger King is designed to get you into the holiday spirit by turning your poop the wrong color like you have a liver problem.

I'm not kidding, it was in the news that it gave you green poop! Past that, this was okay but on the dry side. Now this comes from a Double Whopper fan, and being a Double Whopper fan I like big burgers. 

This was fun to try but I would not have ordered one just on the off. It was an experience I'm glad to have had but not one I'm yearning to repeat.

Samuel Adams Fat Jack Double Pumpkin

Fat Jack is a pumpkin spice concoction with real pumpkin designed to capitalize on the Halloween season. The cover art alone spoke to me and I thought Samuel Adams was a good brand. Unfortunately, this stuff tastes more like cleaning products than beer. The label says it should be sweet but I haven't found it to be so.

On the up side Fat Jack is different and that will

make any party but the fact that this is a pricey beer makes it something you should buy and share to say that you did rather than buy because you want to drink the stuff. 

My brother said that Samuel Adams never did tickle his fancy. 

Charms Blow Pop Strawberry

This was so not strawberry that I need to go get some strawberries to find out what they taste like.
I think this is the normal excepted flavor for strawberry candy but  this has got to be a conspiracy by drug companies to make our kids not eat real fruit because they think it tastes funny.
Now let me go spit out that tasteless gum in the trash. 

Twizzlers

Twizzlers are what happens the first time the Enterprise crew tries to replicate cherry licorice. I think Wesley programmed some crack in there to give them flavor because it's hard to stop eating these things. To me life is too short for crap candy, but I will admit these kill me so good.

Ace Pumpkin Hard Cider

This is my second delve into the world that is Ace Cider and I have to say it is better than the last. The pineapple was bland but this tastes much better. I will admit that the pumpkin only gives it a lovely dark color and that the flavor is a strong apple. This is not a great Halloween item but a strong drink for any occasion. I would buy it to set the stage at parties and it is better priced than many other pumpkin items you get of the same nature. 

  

Coca Cola Vanilla

Coca Cola Vanilla is kind of like Coke but not as good.

Pumpkin Spice Oreo

The nightmare that is Pumpkin Spice Oreo was vitiated upon me at 75 calories per cookie and not the least spice flavor. Without coffee these were inedible, they looked nothing like the package, in fact they were gloppy looking with the cream bleeding over into the cookie.  I gave these away rather than eat them. 

Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Coffee

Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Coffee is another soldier in the pumpkin spice pocolips but less of a fanatic than other spicers. You can taste very little of the spice, and so this is more of a novelty than anything else.  I wouldn't get it again but it was worth buying for the novelty.

Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte Mix

So if you ever wanted Pumpkin spice tea to help you get fat this stuff is top notch. If being a blimp like me is not your bag I'd keep a good distance. This stuff was great tasting but it was basically sugar water and, well, I'd rather have a beer.

Elysian Punkccino Coffee Pumpkin AIe

I came across this at my local BevMo and decided to try it and I'm glade I did. I could taste the pumpkin and the spice as well as one can taste the spice in pumpkin pie coffee grounds. If you like pumpkin, pumpkin spice, beer,and coffee this will complete you're October experience. Be weary it is pricey 

BJ's Crispy-Thing Fires

Well, these were very thin, kind of reminded me of spaghetti to be honest. Took me forever to get these eaten because you get more of them as they are smaller. I have to say I liked them but I'm a sucker for french fries.

I'd order these again if not for the need to order the other kind for a review. 

BJ's Brewhouse Blonde Fish 'n' Chips

BJ's Brewhouse Blonde Fish 'n' Chips, seen here with crispy-thin fries, is a different take on fish and chips. It's very easily cut with a fork and has a tenderness not seen in other fish and chips I've had over the last year.

I can't say it's the best I've had but I can say it is worth trying if fish and chips is your thing. 

BJ's Crisp Potato Skins Platter

So the title is Crisp Potato Skins and these were not crisp. They did have skins but I can tell that very little of the potato was cut away to make these so they failed the name. 

I don't know why they call them something they're not but past that these were very good. I mean, I would get them again.  

BJ's Water

Look at that presentation! Looks great for some dirty tap water doesn't it? Well, it's still dirty tap water and even as it costs nothing I wish I could bring my own water into the restaurant from this point on. 

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte

With the Pumpkin spice apocalypse upon us I had to try the new version of this soft core crack. For all you dork holes out there who think this is funny: no it doesn't taste like white people.

This wasn't as cold as it should have been and wasn't nearly pumpkin spice enough for me, but I could taste the real pumpkin. This was reasonable once I mixed down the whipped cream. I wouldn't get this again. It just wasn't that great.  

Panera Bread Pumpkin cookie

I got this with a meal and then took it home to spread the calories out and so I sat down with some coffee and had this shortbread cookie with frosting on it. 

This 460 Calorie bit of normal is kind of disappointing given that there is almost nothing in the way of seasoning on the cookie. You'd think they would have added pumpkin spice, or pumpkin pure. Well, it was better than short bread along but not worth the calories.

Charms Blow Pop Sour Apple

A Sour Apple Blow Pop tastes like fake Sour Apple. I can totally tell it is fake and not the taste of real sour apple.

Now the gum didn't last but I guess if you just had a lolly flavorless gum is fine to have. Can't recommend these at all. 

Sugar Babies

So, who did Sugar Daddy screw to make these unholy treats? Jelly Belly, I think. Now that was a image I didn't need.

These Milk Caramel jelly beans are like a sugar daddy left mouse poops on you plate. You can tell I didn't care for them. I think they oxidized or had some coating that made them not as good as a sugar daddy, and I'm not big on sugar daddy's to be honest.
